So today marks the end of a story (?) and potentially begins another. Not just in the comic itself, but also a new chapter for it’s author. Oh wait, that’s me right?
So I’ve been sitting on this information for a little while, indeed I only imparted it to the people I see and spend most of my time with just recently, but I figured I should finally share the news with you all. This July will mark the arrival of our first child! (cue raucous applause) To answer the immediate question, no we don’t know the sex and we do not plan to find out. There are so few true surprises in life and we figured this is one of the big ones! Plus if we end up having a girl I won’t be saddled with mounds of pink miniature sets of clothing months before the kid’s arrival :) Anyway I thought I’d share the happy news with you guys!

Hey Guys!
Finally got around to uploading this image to the site. It was sent to me by Lou Manglass of “Yet Another Webcomic.” Lou’s been reading the comic for a long time now and I actually got to meet him at PAX East this year for an evening of Beer and Munchkin. Lou sent me this piece of fan art just after my son was born and I’ve been meaning to get it up on the site for a while. Either way it’s up now for you all to enjoy! On the news, congratulations, most of my friends are also starting their families this year, making my girlfriend crazy (she loves babies). About the comic… WTF?!? where did THAT come from?? man, I was starting to like that charlie character and was already seeing a lot of comedy situations in the future, but again, it is not like a little bus can kill him right? right?

I have read all your comics and never reacted before. I dont know why I read the underscript this time, because I did that only once at this site and found out you are having a baby. It must be destiny, so hereby:
Congratulations!!! I hope it will be just as talented as you are at drawing comics and most important of all: 100% fully healthy!! The best to the Misses as well, she will be doing all the hard work coming months
