Hey Guys!
Finally got around to uploading this image to the site. It was sent to me by Lou Manglass of “Yet Another Webcomic.” Lou’s been reading the comic for a long time now and I actually got to meet him at PAX East this year for an evening of Beer and Munchkin. Lou sent me this piece of fan art just after my son was born and I’ve been meaning to get it up on the site for a while. Either way it’s up now for you all to enjoy! It would be really cool to see a breakdown of these pieces: Say, rough sketch, pencils, inks, blocking in the colors, then put the final result at the end. Nothing really “tutorially”, just here it is at the end of each phase, or here are the layers I used, each on their own, even if they don’t show up in the final product. You know, with all that free time you have, it’d be cool if you’d do all that for us for free.
